Cookie Policy
GPU IQ ("we", "us", "our", or "the Company") uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites and web applications (the "Sites") to operate the Service, protect it from abuse, remember your preferences, and understand how the Sites are used. This policy explains what cookies are, which categories we use, how long they last, how you can control them, and what happens when you refuse non-essential cookies.

What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website you visit. Cookies can be first-party (set directly by the website you are visiting) or third-party (set by a different domain, typically an embedded service). They can be session-scope (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (stored until an expiry date). Related client-side storage technologies - including localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB - serve similar purposes and are treated the same way in this policy.
1. Strictly necessary
Required for the Service to function. You cannot disable these without breaking core functionality such as authentication, session continuity, and security. No consent is required under GDPR for strictly-necessary cookies.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __gpuiq_session | Authenticated session token. Issued on successful login, verified on every request by middleware. | HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax | 7 days |
| __gpuiq_cert_session | Session token for the Sales Certification Platform at learn.gpuiq.ai. | HttpOnly, Secure | 30 days |
| __Host-csrf | Cross-site request forgery protection token. | HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict | Session |
2. Functional
Remember preferences you have set to personalise your experience. Disabled unless you opt in on the cookie banner.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| gpuiq-theme | Stores your selected theme (light, dark, system). | localStorage | Persistent until cleared |
| gpuiq-demo-mode | Tracks whether the guided demo walkthrough has been shown. | localStorage | Persistent until cleared |
| gpuiq-last-tenant | Remembers the last tenant you selected via the super-admin tenant switcher. | localStorage | Persistent until cleared |
3. Analytics
Currently none active. When we introduce analytics (for example, Vercel Analytics with visitor identification enabled, PostHog, or similar), they will be disclosed here and gated behind cookie-banner consent for users in GDPR and UK GDPR jurisdictions.
4. Marketing and advertising
Currently none active. GPU IQ does not run retargeting pixels, advertising SDKs, or cross-site tracking on the Sites.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
GPU IQ honours the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal on the Sites for users in jurisdictions where GPC is legally recognised (including California under CPRA). When your browser sends a valid GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information, and as a withdrawal of consent for non-essential cookies. We do not currently act on legacy DNT (DNT: 1) because the standard was not finalised and browser behaviour varies. GPC is the preferred signal.
Your choices
Via the cookie banner
On first visit, you see a banner with three choices: Accept all (enables all categories), Reject non-essential (enables only strictly-necessary cookies), or Manage preferences (opens a panel with a toggle for each non-essential category). Your choice is stored locally. You can change it at any time by returning to this page.
Via your browser
Most modern browsers let you block cookies by site or in bulk. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the Service from functioning. Instructions for common browsers:
- Chrome:
chrome://settings/cookies - Firefox:
about:preferences#privacy - Safari: Preferences - Privacy
- Edge:
edge://settings/content/cookies
Via regulatory rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. If you are in California (CPRA) or other U.S. states with equivalent laws, you can exercise opt-out rights on the Sites and via privacy@gpuiq.ai.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever the categories of cookies we use, or the names and durations within each category, change. Material changes will be announced on the Sites and dated at the top of this page. The version history is available in the public source repository.
